Let's see your ongoing build piccies!!!
Discussion
Now I'm stuck at work here in sunny Abu Dhabi waiting to get back to the UK mid March - engine is primed, turns over and apart a couple of issues is ready to run......I've even got the SVA date confirmed for April 22nd so hopefully getting to the end of the build and should be on the road for summer!!
Now this got me thinking
- I've really enjoyed the build process, posting the odd pic & getting a few kind words of encouragement along the way.......but we don't seem to have many progress photos posted recently??
So come on guys (n gals?) be good to see a few different builds posted up now and then....might even encourage a few 'lurkers' out from the depths....might even be tempted to start another project myself!!

Well, I don't post them directly on here but I keep my (rudimentary) website up-to-date at :-
http://www.jouhar.com/ultima2 where my progress can be followed in date order.
I am currently working on the fuel system, and cill covers will be next I think.
Still got to fit the leather cover on the dash, which has been cut out for the switches etc.
It all gets a bit complicated as the build progresses, working out the order to do things.
Regards
Kelvin

very nice looking engine, what are we looking at ?
It's a 434ci (7.1L) based on a dart little M block. Basically the same spec as the GTW except Waynes engine has an Ali block whilst this is steel. Inlet system is Kinsler. She is going on the dyno in 2 weeks time, so I will let you know what it makes... Hoping for 600bhp+ and 600Lb.ft, but I am running quite a mild cam to make it roadable and to get it through an emmissions test...
Cheers,
Mart

Thanks for the pics & links guys.....all looking v.good
......always interesting to look at the various ideas, mods and indeed garages/workshops!! Can't wait to get back to old blighty and get the car fired up - hopefully I'll be able to post some video of the big day!
Now then think we had 18-20 builds declared under the "Are we there yet?" thread from a few months back so that still leaves a dozen or so builders that haven't posted.......appreciate not everyone is keen to post but would be nice to see a few more different builds??
Cheers, Simon

deadscoob, the progress looks good.
is that the now standard "Droped Floor" if so that looks a good deal further dropped than the one i sat in. anyone know how far it drops below the top of the main chassis rails. i think the car i sat in in Sydney didnt have the dropped floor.
thnaks in advance
