Need a new road car £5000, advice
Discussion
OK I need a new every day car.
My requirments is mainly fun, I live in the contry so I want to be able to chuck it around and it be quickish, but I need to use it everyday so I need a boot and I want remote central locking, don't really care about anything else.
I'm thinking S2000, Lancer Evo, Impreza....
I want to spend about £5000. What should I get?

Had half an hour playing with a TT not so long ago, 3.0 or 3.2 litre I think. Was quite nippy, typical good engineering, tight at 70k miles, and even some (very small) rear seats....seem to hold their value too! My mate paid £5500 for it.
If these are hairdressers cars I reckon its worth getting your scissors out, I was impressed with it as an all-rounder!
Despite their popularity and owner/mates Im not sold on Scoobies etc....seen plenty of them without their plastic.... theres not much under there.....You Eggbeater drivers are generally a brave bunch though.

Dunno about this one particularly but if you're prepared to fiddle a bit it might be ok. Lovely V8 soundtrack too! I can see you in ti flying through those country lanes!
Or is it a bit old?
