that really pisses me off....

why just turn out work that is obviously inferior as it just upsets the customer who in turn will never use that business again...

who was it so we can all make sure we dont use them??

OMG! I thought I was the worst "welder" in the world.
I think you need show the wel.. err tt that err did the job a photo of a real fabricated manifold and then suggest a refund.
If that fails I suggest you could persue through small claims for work not fit for purpose. It will take an age but it might teach the idiot not to tell porkys about him being a welder (which he clearly isn't).

Hey!idea you could take it down to the tate modern and have it appraised, after all they paid a fortune for a pile of bricks!! and there is clearly more skill on show here hehe
