When the AC compressor blew up on my Sports in 2006, sourced a replacement from AMA Air Conditioning. Their contact details are enquiries(at)ama.ac or +441453832884.
Their code for the compressor was (DK 15 CH 2A 12V 134A R/HUB). Obviously need to check that this one is the right replacement for you, as I guess Ultima may have changed compressors over the years.
As you are across the pond a UK supplier probably not that much use, but the code might help.

Probably a collection of things.
The shape of the cockpit and amount of glass.
The system is not very large.
And one you need to investigate is warm air leaking in. This will likely be coming out of the side pods and up over the chassis rails down by your knees. The heat will be coming off the cooling pipes and heater pipes which the factory say should not be insulated. Also if the pod has not been closed off at the back then heat from the engine bay will be coming along the pods as well. If heat is coming in over the rail then it should be possible to get some blocks of foam and stuff them in the gap.

I think you have a few probs with the air con on an Ultima
THe three way heater valve can stick open.

Condensor is really very small and the fan is marginal and competing with heat from the engine bay - especially headers
I have sorted (2) and now just have the valve off. I plan to attack 3 by having a shield around the condensor to allow the fan to blow out but to minimise heat soak in.

Good idea David. I disconnected the ac belt at the end of 2008 just as the weather started to cool off, and never had to use the heater, so I may consider disabling it completely.
Also, I am having a tint company install a clear 3M product that is supposed to reduce heat through the windshield by over 50%. I don't think that they can put it on the side screens because they are not glass.
