Begginner - before start the build - tools needed?

Hi!

The build is comming soon, so now it is time to prepare everything.

Let's assume that I don't have any tools... so it's like starting from 0.

Just checking different options, I think that I will order them at torintools (recomended by Bernard and Willy from the LS7 in Sinagapore). Making the same order:

1. Complete range of 16 tool tray sets – 1 item each of SXTS01, SXTS02, SXTS03, …, SXTS15, SXTS16.
2. Tool cabinet – 1 item of SXD2132-X
3. Tool cart – 1 item of SXC321A
4. Car creepers – 2 items of SRC4021
5. Car seats – 2 items of SRS6762
6. Garage jacks – 2 items of SJF3502
7. Jack stands 3 tons – 6 pairs of SJD0130
8. Jack stands 6 tons – 6 pairs of SJD0160
9. Engine stands 1500lbs foldable – 2 items of SLE6801
10. Engine cranes 2t foldable – 2 items of SLG0220X

as they dont sell it in torintools, where would you recommend me to buy the following:

-Compressor (which one??)
-Pillar Drill
-air rivet gun

If you have any other suggestions, are more than wellcome.

p.s.: the dolly is already done.

Item 4. No. There is nothing to creep under.
Item 6. Why do you need two jacks?
Items 7 & 8 Jeeeeese, how heavy do you think an Ultima is. If only for the Ultima the 2 tonne version will be fine and you will not need more than 2 pairs i.e. one on each corner.
Item 9. You will only need an engine stand if you are going to build the engine yourself. Even then you will only need one.
Item 10. Engine hoist. You will likely only need it the once so hiring or borrowing would be better. Again why would you need two?

Machinemart would be a good place for the other bits.

Sorry Steve..I just copied it from "Bernard and Willy" order so that's why there is 2 of each...I should have deleted the number of items!

not a tool but I will suggest that you take the build CD to a printer shop have the thing printed and bound leave several pages per section blank with lines to keep notes on. sure makes it easy to keep track of were you are at and what you have done and modified. Lee
