Hi,

Does the Ultima chassis come with a stamped chassis number from the factory when you buy a chassis?

If so where is it located?

I'm interested in the chassis for sale on PH but the owner dosn't know if it has a chassis number or where to look?

Cheers,

David.

The number is stamped into the top of the round chassis tube just forward of the O/S front upper shock mount.

Thanks Steve.

What do you think of the price wanted for the chassis?

Edited to say that the advert has been removed now so it might be sold.

Cheers,

David

Hello Dom,

Thanks for the link. Having read the advert it appears to be the same chassis that was advertised a few months back except now it is back to black and not silver.....very confusing.

Have sent an email asking to view the chassis. Are the chassis's powder coated from the factory or painted?

I would ask the seller but there is no phone number.

Cheers,

David.

The chassis number is obviously stamped, and if the seller isn't familiar with it then this means that they didn't build it. Not a major problem, but would colour any answers to build spec questions that you might raise.

as said they are powder coated from the factory... Might be the original builder wanted it silver and got it painted... If you supply the factory the chassis numbre they will confirm date of purchase etc etc

good luck

Dom
