Picnic day in macc forest

every year my father organises an annual picnic day at his farm in Macclesfield Forest and as ive just bought myself the silver Ultima, it would be nice to see some of you guys as well.

I know its not a track day, but it could be a treat for the misses and a compromise to get the car out again... Please if you do come be carefull of the Macclesfield to Buxton road as the police use helecopters and planes to catch you speeding(The Cat and Fiddle Run)

Members are invited to our annual picnic day and this year’s theme is ‘A Teddy Bear Picnic’, so bring your own Teddy (optional) and awards will be given to the best Teddy Bear and Car of the show.

Topclose Farm is situated adjacent to Macclesfield Forest and Teggs Nose Country Park, with extensive views over the Cheshire Plains, popular country pubs (Leather Smithy 10 mins walk) as well as numerous public paths and Bridal ways nearby.
This event has proved popular over the years with the Morgan’s, Sunbeam Tigers, Minis, MGs, Porsches and even a 1932 Delage D8s which usually makes an appearance.

A collection will be made in aid of the NW Air Ambulance (last years collection was £105)
