Who do you insure with?
Discussion
Boring I know.
I have today parted with a large deposit for a S/H Canam. After a number of false starts I have actually bitten the bullet! Collecting in a few days so I need to ask you guys who do you insure with and have you any coments to make on them? I see the link to Adrian Flux above but have had some conflicting reports.
As always I value yours comments.

You will get lots of different answers but I cannot fault Competition Car Insurance.
Absolutely brilliant people. Costs me £360 fully comp with a protected bonus.(5K miles).

we had this topic a while ago when i asked and Hagertys was the insurer of choice...Must say i was impressed with them and their quote so followed the advise of you guys and insured with them....Very pleased, especially that i can drive another car insured with Hagertys fully comp...... So if Kyle or Russ wanted to drive my car or I drive theirs im covered...

Competiton gave slightly better quote but all in the £700+ range for <5000miles even though car locked up and I have clean license.
However I like the Hagerty track day cover for 10% of premium per day.

Are you 17 or do you live in Moss Side Manchester perhaps?
That seems very high. If you want give me a call with your details and Ill have a word with CCI (got to speak to them this week anyway) as that seems way way too high ....unless your running 1500bhp with nitrous

Wilder tells me that the problem is down to lack of no claims bonus.
I have 11 years ncb on my main car. don't these companies give you any credit for that?
Hagerty said they weren't interested in no claims bonus - just considered driving record over last few years. I think they said it's a special type of policy - classic or kit car, can't remember which.I have 11 years ncb on my main car. don't these companies give you any credit for that?

and car theft is all in a normal day here, so can't think why your quotes are so high. Good luck....
