Anyone recommend a good book on the Chevy Engine (rebuilding etc). Just realised I don't know much about them! :-)

Anything by Dave Vizard, easy to understand approach and he is the man ( apart from 'our' man that is Martin , but I don't think he has yet published anything pertaining to the subject )

The last one is a basic strip and rebuild rather than modifying but does still contain some worthwhile bits as it also covers rebuilding US type alternators which you won’t easily find in the UK.

Reher Morrison do some detailed reads, if you fancy attempting lots of power.....they are quite expensive though!

Be careful not to digest 'drag-race' engine tuning only, as this route usually excludes street manners/longevity.

Some reading/understanding about Nascar build-techniques can be more helpful and help produce quite pleasing results in an endurance engine.
