Cars had an awful lot of work done recently inc fitting a new LSD/ignition system, as its now going to Terry Grant anytime soon on loan for use in his act, so I dont think I will have the car for then..
Shame mate. LSD? Not going Quaife ATB? Can really rate them on the Ult. Wonde hoe Stuart is getting on with it. Real transformation from the std open diff.

Its got the Japanese OS Gikon LSD which costs about 40% more than the quaiffe -but unlike the Quaiffe it will lock up to 100% which is whats required for tricks & doughnuts (quaiffe has a maximum of 70%), although I will run it at a reasonable setting when it comes back. Roundabouts are sure fun when its locked at 100% evil

OK guys just over a week to go. I see Lisa on the list but noone else. Adrian W has just entered in his V fast Noble so you will need a true 600bhp car to get close to him in 3rd/4th.

Any more takers?

I'd be up for a ride out in the old porker if anyone want's to convoy - hell I might even enter!!

None from me, sorry. Wilder might have one?

Good luck to you both, anyhow. Remember, better to crawl away from the start than to 'spin her up' in a frenzy!! You've got plenty of time to gun it when you have full traction smile

Some even start from second. Never could do that with the SPEC stage 2 kevlar fingered plate. Too jerky.

Pete, Did you remove your wing for this?

Will you be there to hand over your tiara? biggrin

Ha!

First year I went completely wingless. Back did squirm a bit under breaking - but you don't need to heavy brake here.

Second year I went upper flapless (IIR the Factory said that high speed runs can be dome like this). More stability at speed and no issues under braking. Also looks the part - if you've got a carbon wing - why not use it!!!

Not is! It started off a good day, sun shining, breakfast at table number 8. First run, 177mph. 2nd run is where it all went wrong. A misfire! So we're on the trailer and on our way back to Scotland. If only we had a Chinese car - that table number 8 would have made all the difference!!!!the title's still yours lucky!

Awwww. Sorry to hear that. 177mph is by no means shabby though!!! Did they manage a full mile distance this year?

Quite an event huh?

Ok here's a question. Car runs ok till you put your foot down, then pops, bangs and cuts out untill you lift off again. Any ideas ?? MSD ? Coil ? wobble
