My none stock ls7 engine has arrived and I got 2 x 1/8 NPTF temp senders for oil and water
and a pressure sender with 1/8 NPTF that came with my dashboard. ECU is using the standard LS7 sensors.
The question now is where I can mount this sensors especially with the unusual thread they use ?
The oil pan is not a stock LS7 and I might be able to get the threads in there so I can mount the
pressure sender and temp sender there ?

Help much appreciated !

The 1/8 NPTF is actually very common so adaptors are easy to find.
You need a 'Tee Piece' which will screw into the block then one sensor screws onto the end of the tee with the other screwed into the side.

The LS engines' oil-sender location is on the inlet manifold next to the throttle body. This is normally modified for an Ultima installation, usually to reduce the size of the boss and fit a 90 degree adapter... particularly if the inlet manifold has been reversed or throttle body modified.
If your engine was built for an Ultima it really should already be modified and as Steve has said, fitted with a two-way/ T-piece to accomodate your oil sensors.

For photos on LS sender location, you might want to mail Kyle (gulf LS3) as he has several at various stages in the works.... I dont have any LS motor's here until next week so cannot quickly provide photos.

thanks the t-piece is a very good idea, the engine I got is really fantastic it has
a custom made billet oil pan (that requires some rework on the right engine mount tubes), a DAILEY ENGINEERING oil pum,
a butterfly intake manifold,EMP STEWART high flow water pump, mechanical throttle, custom made cam cover (this is where I actually found now an insert for the oil pressure sender.
will upload some pics later
