Someone was taking it slow - comment from the Northloop forum:

"Damn near the slowest thing on track yesterday, every time I 'found' him on a lap he had a huge queue of cars behind him. Somehow he was doing 11 minute laps but still holding everybody up as it was so damn fast on the straights.

The only way I could overtake was on the 'green' line..."

Everyone on Northloop is a 'Ring legend who can knock out 8min or below laps with their eyes closed, typically their first laps would've been sub 9 mins

I was there that weekend. I spoke to the chap and he said it was his first time at the ring and hadn't had the car long.
he seemed to be enjoying it regardless of lap times. I'm sure he'll get quicker once he gets a few hundred laps under his belt.
the car got more attention than anything else there, it was awesome!

I think I would also be taking it a bit slow at first having spent years building one

That being said.... has anyone ever posted a video of a reasonably fast
Ultima lap at the Ring?
