UK Ultima at Spa

Who was the red and white strip Ultima at the Goldtrack SPA track fest last week ?
Does anyone know ?

Give us more news please..... Have to do the Spa track one day. Lived in Belgium for two years and worked often on race cars in Zolder, but never got the chance to try out Spa.

Very pretty car, what spec engine is it ? At 1 stage they was a lot of oil over the rear, was this the reason you were how can I put it quite conservative driving it !!

I was going to drop in ... but hey I am out of the Ultima seen now !!

Goldtrack did a SPA track day for 2 day, I was with 2 Ferrari's 4 Porkers, 1 Aston 1 Audi RS8 Thing, 1 SL55AMG and a Audi S3, in the evening we drove to the Nurburgring for a little R&R

I had to pay for the beers cause every car I drove I parked up and the brakes were on fire ... a great weekend

Very impressive! Doesn't give the impression of going fast, but on reading the stats and how the other cars are passed, I don't doubt an instant that the speed was something else. Great!

Hi, thanks for the comments the car has a 500bhp 406ci Peter Knight unit. It used to be AS but that turned to tin foil on the track but is giving good service now. The oil was from a leaking dry sump joint, but I think it was carrying a smidge too much speed into the corner that caused the spin.Still , managed to put in some decent laps and not that I was timing but if I was my guess would be 2.50.2 give or take a tenth What car are you driving now and what made you give up the Ult if you don't mind me asking as there are times that I look longingly at 996 cup cars and enviously at there reliability.
UCH get to Spa it is better than any track I have driven before by some distance the speed, corners and changes in altitude combine to make a great track and when you get eau rouge right, which I did'nt often the speed you can carry onto Kemmel is so much better and setsit up for the whole lap .
