Hi Blue I will have a look this evening. Having said that I believe the factory changed the length shortly after mine so as to solve the problem with keepers. The ones LuckyP had I am sure were the new length. Have to say they work well as ride is not too badly compromised and keep the rear end much flatter on track.
The keeper is a very soft spring winding whose function is simply so the coil doesn't unseat when there is zero load on the shock abosrber. The keeper remains fully compressed whilst there is weight on the car, these are supplied by the factory with the uprated spring set.
Obviously not a photo of Ultima coil springs, but the coil on the right is the keeper in that set up, similar to the Ultima one.
