ECU to motor wiring connectors

Hello all,

I'm having trouble finding suitable multiple-pin connectors to join my EMS (australian company) ecu which is mounted inside the cabin, to the cables from the motor (LS Chavey).
I need some sort of fixed electrical socket (coming from the ecu behind the driver's seat) to mount onto the bulkhead and then I can connect it to the motor wiring.

I've found a couple of companies offering such things but they are all going to cost 2-300 Pounds which seems ridiculous.

Does anyone out there know of a cheaper alternative (I have about 70 wires to connect)?

Maybe someone has already discussed this, but there are over 300 pages on this forum, and my slow internet connection is driving me mad at the moment.

I am using connectors from Polevolt.
Look for 23710 and 23720 on page 12 which is a 6 way connector.
With all the pins and seals it comes to less than £4 for a mating pair.

You can make up some very nice looms with these and the convoluted tube and fittings around page 5.

I spoke to the chap at Polevolt yesterday and it's a question that's often asked of him. He's trying to find an american supplier at the moment and will let me know shortly.
I'll pass on the info of course.

I saw the 6-pin plugs on page 12 (thanks again) and they are very nice (I tihnk they are standard on the Corvettes), but I'll still end up with a big bunch of connectors if I go that way.
I'm not looking to build a garage queen, but I would like it looking half tidy.

We'll see what happens.

Google for 'bulkhead connector' turns up various sources supplying 100+ terminals in a single housing, so they're definitely available. No idea on price though.
