I wonder if this would fit?

no matter what other engine you are using you will run into many problems and a lot more expensive build because many things
will have to be custom made. Other engines than LS or SBC will only be an option if you have exhaust builder, welder, lathe guy and what the f.....
else !!!
And I am pretty sure the V10 is toooooooooo looooooooong , so the gear box will probably stick out of the rear of the car not to mention the problems with the drive shafts probably not be at the right position.

Honestly Mr Spatz, where is your sense of adventure?
But you're right in that it possibly could be a little long, still I believe there a re a couple of BMW V12 engined Ultimas out there without gearboxes sticking out of the back. Having said that this is a big block so might be a physically large engine.

I agree with Spatz..... i love to see things that are a bit different but unless you are very skilled and have access to lots of machinery and cash i would stick with the proven routes...
1 SBC the easiest
2 LS
3 Audi less parts available for this option
The AB boys seem to be progressing with their V10 though!!
That Viper lump is tooooooo heavy

my car is now amost finshed, less bodywork, but engine, electric system, syspension and brakes are on, so waiting for the wheels, so maybe in 1 or 2 weeks I will have it on the road. My strong advice is that the first car should be sticking to what the factory supplies, with the second you can go crazy, because then you know what changes have what consequences.
