oil and coolant amount ?

searched the manual and the forum but no hints how much liquid goes in the cooling system and how much oil to fill in a typical ls7 install.
I would assume that for the coolant there is not much difference so SBC installs will probably use similar amount.

Coolant you will just fill until the swirl pot is right to the top and the expansion tank is one third full. Don't mess with anti-freeze yet until you know everything is sealed

Oil will be dependant on what tank you have.
In principal a dry sump will have nothing in it but I would throw a couple of litres in there for the start, guess how much the pipes will hold, top the tank up to just about the low level and have some more ready to put in if needs be.

Afetr first sart with a guess at how much oil you need the dry sump tank should be no more than 2/3 full not less than 1/2 full. You always want at least 1/3 of the dry sump tank for foam ect while it is running to avoid puking oil out the breather. Lee

have the info now from sven from ultimacars.de it is using 12-14 liters for a LS7 setup.
