Hello Gents,

Would I be dissapointed with the performance of an LS376 over an LS7? I only ask because if I chose a LS376 I could afford a nice set of Dymag Carbon wheels. biggrin

Hello,

Crafty your Tempest is a sweet car. Have seen the pics on Jeffs site and it looks great. What ECU are you running with it? Is the cam and remap the only thing you have done to get 550bhp?

The C/F Dymags do look the t1ts for sure but having them will only ever be of use for that reason and if you were to damage one weeping, it is likely to break your heart ( and cost you dear! ) yes
If you are considering your budget, why not use the money for AP carbon discs? This would give you the benefit of uprated parts that will enhance the performance potential of your car and will look really good too yes

Hello Wayne,

Carbon discs would be a great idea but you know when you have seen something and you must have it? Thats what carbon Dymags are doing to me.smile

I know exactly what you are saying, I too expressed an interest in the exact same wheels when they were on the drawing board but unfortunately they were not production ready in time for my requirements so I had to settle for the magnesium alternatives and although now I am glad things went the way they did, I have to say I was more than a little envious when LuckyP managed to acquire the first set yet to be seen on an Ultima yes

If you have that itch, best you get it scratched then wink

Pete as you still have your Dymags, are we to presume you will return to the fold ................
or is this just some unholy weird relationship you have going on here?

Nope, I don't have them. They were last seen lapping Snetterton on an aquaplaining X8 some time this week!!

But anything I can do to help a fellow carbonophile in need!! laugh

Hehehe.....biggrin

Thanks for the fix. I think I will need bigger front discs because the standard AP's look very small!!
