just had my first test drive in my village in my canam no front or rear clip just side pods installed, what a thrill.
Also got some stunning looks from people in front of their houses, probably have not seen a stripped down car on the road before.
So started in may and have my first drive in august I would say 4 months is not too bad. Next week final assembly of
front clip and then I am ready for a real drive!

Congrats! I still remember that day. Absolutely one of the best days in my life (so far).

Great work Spatz! I can imagine the faces in surprise of people as you drive by. Have the car been TÜVed and registered? Any problems with the noise level of the exhaust?

Hope to see you soon.
Daniel

Edited to add PS: Any photos soon?

Well done Spatz . I had my first drive after 5 months with no windscreen , sidescreen or lights . Oh and yes no insurance or tax but it was dark. Car finished after 7 months then 2 months on top for SVA and registration .

oh yes same here but bright day light, no front, no back no windscreen not even the dash grp, no license plate just out of the garage and hit the throttle, first thing was that the badly welded gear lever arm located at the back that broke, so to the welder, got it fixed, reinstalled and then hit it, collected lots of stones but that was a moment !!!
the ls7 is really pushing forwad.............

Wow, thats looking really good! Just a suggestion for the next time you go topless without any fenders....wear sunglasses. After driving a few open wheel cars, I figured that one out the hard way!

EDIT: I like the choice of going with the silver side pods. It defiantely adds some flavor to the car.

Even mader than me . I like the fly collectors on the back . I had heard that the Germans recycle nearly everything .
