anyone tried demon tweeks race silencers????

looking at quietening my GTR down and been looking on Demon Tweeks website.. they offer a range of 3inch exhausts , somne with repackable silencers?? anyone tried them???

looking for a tracvk day legal silencers, even thinking of having 2 silencers per header with 4 exhaust tail pipes alla Zonda?

What I have is Jetex handy round, 10" x 5" dia. cut and angled to replace Ultima tail pipes. (please ignore the parrot crap welding...it isn't mine!)

With freshly repacked Ultima SBC silencers I get 100/101db, after 1 trackday it is about 103 and after 2 it is squeaking in at about 105db. With freshly repacked silencers and Ultima tail pipes I get about 105, so the Jetex are really useful. There apppears to be little damage to the Jetex stuffing so far.

Currently I am trying to track down some high density stainless cloth which I am sure will protect the packing better than the open texture stainless wool. Most of the damage to the packing occurs at the inlet to the SBC silencer I guess indicating much more aggresive gasses than towards the outlet.

now these a good idea.... run 2 silensers in line??? even easier for me as my headers are the optional tuned length ones so the standard silencers ar alreay pointing downwards... maybe ill have a chat with demon t's tommorrow

I reduced noise on mine by adding extra length to the exhaust and adding in a balance chamber... I came out of the silencers then went back towards the engine into a balance chamber above the gearbox and then turned back to the rear of the car and exited in the same location.

this reduced my car by around 5db to 101db and enough to get onto bedford autodrome.
