Morning Ultima folk.

Soon to find out whether I will hold a licence or not. Trouble is I have a test day and two races on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th of Sept at Snetterton. The race licence isn't affected, but as I drive to events in the MR2, I'm stuck good and proper!!

I have to get from Surrey to Norfolk with the car for 7.30 on Friday morn and then back to Surrey after the meet on Saturday.

I've been thinking about all the possibilities....but not gone with anything yet.

Any suggestions?

Pete

PS - If I can get hold of a tow car and a trailer, then any driving offers will be met with the offer of a B&B, all you can eat on the weekend, and the VIP LuckyP Racing Team Paddock Pass (or 2) and all that goes with that.....whatever that is wink

Are you saying I would need a LuckyP Racing shirt the size of a 2-man tent? I can withdraw the offer you know wink

Looking forward to it mate. Book some decent weather though.

...and me too!

Don't forget to represent yourself...

...sorry! but I have found most local solicitors in my opinion as total rubbish! (Don't get me going!)

In every case I had the displeasure of attending....I did it myself and got off...when the solicitor said I wouldn't! Not rocket science - just good observation and logic. - You just need to put doubt in the minds of the magistrates.

There are one or two that are good though, but very hard to find!

Whatever.... very good luck!

Thanks chaps. I pleaded guilty at the first possible opportunity to the offence. We just have one little question that we need an answer to. Can't say anymore.

Cover me...I'm going in!!

Preciate that Dom. It's taught me alot already. I've been driving to the speed limits since (almost a year now) - helped by Stuart's purchase of X8 (which I will tell the court that I sold it as soon as the summons came through). Isn't it amazing just how many people speed though! I plan my route - allow time, and now just watch people (like I was) just zoom past. I've learnt my lesson.

I take my drug now in the confined area of the track. It does me to take it once a month. I love it. I'm addicted to it, but it no longer bothers me to take 'speed' in an illegal arena. All the best to those that do. Their choice.

I'm reformed. That is what I shall tell the magistrates. If they give me the book, because they can, good for them. Trouble is they won't help me. Not that they need to. And they probably won't believe the story. But I know it's true. And that's what counts. It'll be a right result for British justice and for my belief in it, if they do see what has happened since. But - I don't blame them if they don't. They must get 100 chancers for every genuine reformee. Hey ho.

Good luck myself!! Yaaayyy!!!

So, do I wear a PistonHead T-Shirt? rolleyes

Well you could try this one, but better bring your chauffeur with you.
