It was a practice day for the revival meeting next weekend I think, I did consider popping over for a shufti but got tied up with some other chores and ran out of time.

P is not ALWAYS correct but in this instance I must concur - I raise you the pound for a pinch of snuff for two nods and a wink wink; Prof = was it you?

yep it was practise day and rather than have the poly bales at the chicane they used a tyre wall which caused a mega accident...

Do they change from tyre to poly bales for test days normally then?

Tell us more Dom. What did he have the misfortune to mash?

Yep was me.
Been there for both practice days.
The car damaged was a Healey S100. Chicane was the normal row of tyres which he managed to clip resulting in rolling several times (open top car) and coming to rest upside down against the tyre wall. Driver was shaken but OK which is more than can be said for the car which did not have a straight panel on it.

I'm told it won at last years revival by a country mile.

Went in the Ultima yesterday and the Dakar today.
Left the Ultima home as I think it may be throwing a CV joint from the clicking and clacking noises on the latter part of the journey home.

Steve

ETA Think there are some photos on the Goodwood events forum.

Paul is better equipped to work on bloaters than I wink ( be warned though, he will show NO mercy )
If I were a girl, I think it is more than likely that my parents may have 'dissapeared' me long before now don't you? biggrin
