lsd in g50 ?

Hi all can any one tell me when checking for lsd in g 50 other then looking at the box codes can it be checked in the usual way ie jack up and see if when rotating one wheel the other turns in the same direction ?? or are they a torque biased, ?? infact what type of lsd are they ? cheers for your replies , Dal :-)

Stock Porsche are friction plate types so should test as you have suggested, also various types of 'aftermarket' G50 LSD's lurking around too!

i jacked up mine the other week and one wheel turned a different to the other but when i floor it , there is 2 black lines.... My box was new so dont know if it had lsd as standard??
