Seats in Ultima GTR?

I have seen that some of you Ultima builders have fitted sparco or recaro seats in your cars. How have you solved the "problem" with the "slide"? Can I use the factory seat slides and modify them? or is the best to use aftermaket slides?

I have experianced that aftermaket slides semms to add some height...

Can't answer the main question but I think it would be difficult to find heavier slides than the factory ones unless it was a frame type system.

Only one tip, if your above 5'9" then get the factory seats, as they are very low and designed for the job.

Hmm.. what if you are skinny? the factory seats seems a bit wide for my bum : )

If using "others" mountig brackets? Watch for floor flex. I was going to use Sparco seats & runners. When bolted in the floor was very wobbly. Fitted the factory runners & seats and the problem went away.

If I remember rightly, the factory offer different seat widths! Or used to.
