Really an amazing accomplishment. Congrats Ted & Richard for a job well done. If there ever were any doubters, this should fix it.

I just wish I had the courage to push the car as hard as Ted.

Furthermore, this beat the Caparo T1's record. I can't wait to hear what the naysayers have to say...
Ultima Sports just need to conquer one more record, the Nurburgring!!!

Quote from the article:

"Previous testing has shown that we can also take the Nurburgring lap record with a road legal lap time somewhere in the region of 6mins30secs which sure is tempting to prove someday although there are no plans set as yet......"

yes this is my question too, a more track based setup did this include slicks ?
And what suspension was installed the regular one or the rose jointed ? Standard INTRAX shocks ?

Great news and congratulations to all at the factory.

I imagine that the car was rose jointed and ran with road legal tyres.

The seat looks to still be there, its a mounting plate sitting in the seat that is holding the data logging equipment, or thats what it looks like to me.
