Has andbody installed a Getrag DCT 7DCL750 into their Ultima?

Are there any other suitable DCT gearboxes?

I am aware it is not "proper" to not have a clutch pedal, but with the new generation of DCT's and my lack of familiarity with a stick I don't want to rule out the Ultima.

I don't want to cast aspersions on your physical size, but if you are the same person who posted this on the Aston forum.....

"Tried them all (DB9/V8 Coupe/Volante) and although I did not fit in any, the volante was the worst. Admittedly with the roof down it felt fine"

and this, on the Gassing forum :-

"Having wasted the Aston garages time trying to shoehorn myself in..."

......then, you MAY struggle with an Ultima...

If you will ever be down near Lymington, I would be happy to let you try mine for size.

In answer to your DCT question - I don't know - but at 120kg, it does seem pretty heavy..

Regards

I am guessing that it is not the most spacious interior. I remember reading somebody saying that it was cramped, but that was in the SLC vs GTR flame/thread, so I was not too sure how serious to take it.

This is getting ridiculous. Its like buying trousers, with a 40in inside leg. As a kid I could not find anything to fit, it seems to be the same as an adult.

Please please, any recommendations for me>
