Afternoon all!

I posted the other day expressing interest in a GTR and having now sold the MKII next week is the first week to thoroughly go looking for a suitable car.

However, I have just rang MSM insurance who currently insure my Caterham R500 and they will not insure anyone on an Ultima under 30 (fine for me but my son is 20 and ideally would like to occasionally share driving with him - le mans trips etc.)

Me and my son are insured on the R500 and he has been on the policy since 18 - £1000 a year fully comp no issues.

Does anyone know of a company that will insure him on the car - i seem to remember a lad driving his dad's Can-Am at a Sunday Service at the beginning of the year....?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

Peter

Why not try Lloyds? Not joking, during my race years with my Porkers I was competition insured including engine destruction. Wasn't cheap but also included road use too, so all in all was a good deal. Most competitors on the Swiss Porsche champioship also had the same coverage. The insurance company was based in Germany but connected to Lloyds in London.
