Off Topic - want to buy a Catgeory B vehicle
Discussion
Hi folks, maybe there is some expert amongst us for this problem. My wife is lurking for an Aston Martin Vantage Roadster, and I happen to have found
a car at Douglas Valley that has lost both side mirrors but looks to me like if it can be brought back to life. Unfortunately this is a Category B classified, which means nothing in Germany but a lot in the UK from what I have learned. They said they have to cut out the VIN when they sell the car but this is what would make it impossible for me to reregister here in Germany. Any ideas ?

looking at the photos id say chassis needs straightening or part replacing....... id stay well clear and buy a decent one.... the prices are still fairly low considering what they used to be, either way i couldnt afford one!!!!!! nice cars.... sound great....good lucka car at Douglas Valley that has lost both side mirrors but looks to me like if it can be brought back to life. I think they are built on an extruded & bonded ali chassis (same principle as the Elise) and as such VERY difficult to repair. You can't just jig & straighten. That would explain how a car that looks lightly damaged has ended up as Cat B. Maybe a complete new chassis?
