more precise rod shifting in an ultima

very glad that this pic has been posted, early in the morning in bed I ended up with
a very similar design in my head to improve the shifting precision on an ultima.
I am sure a very similar solution like this can work on an ultima as well, I will try this
next spring.
One thing should be noted, there is a pivot for the back and forth movement which would not work on the factory setup
so back movement has to move the gear rod back.
