Why is the TotalHeadTurners Sport not selling?

I can see that it is overpriced for a 12 year old, earlier model car with a relatively low power output. But is that the only reason? Normally a dealer would drop the price or sell into the trade as it is dead money just standing there.

Is the colour an issue? I am thinking of painting mine silver.

Hi I wondered that myself i went to look at it in my early days of looking / learning about Ultima s it is in top condition with a folder full of history and bills , and its drive was very very nice , and Mark ( owner of TH ) knew his stuff about it ( and all his other cars there ) the only thing that struck me over the following gtr s i looked at was i as opened the door there was an immediate strong smell of fibre glass ( reminded me straight away of a mates horrible dutton from years ago ??? ) Maybe the look , evolution , and devlopment off the gtr over the sport that is slowing down sales ? , oh yeah! on the price? as i was really only there for a nose , i wasnt rude enough to ask about price reduction , but with out prompt Mark offerd a fair amount off , so if someone was looking for a v good sport yep deffinatly one to look at , or as you said could be a colour thing ??, in the end i went for a red gtr , coz as we all know red ones are faster laugh

Thanks for your comments, storer, but keep them too yourself. Mark of (total head turners)is selling my car on behalf of myself. Thank you, to all the other forum users for their sensible comments!

My apologies if my comments have offended.

However, if Mark is offering "a fair amount off" without being asked, a lower advertised price would get more potential buyers viewing the car IMO.

I think you may have taken this post out of context. I can't see anything that would worry me as the seller. He has asked some sensible questions as a builder and colour can effect re-sale. I would not think silver would be a problem though. Having this thread running can only help in your efforts to sell the car.

Good luck

IMO, the GTR AND Sport both look great in silver.

And for what its worth i love the 'big ole pylon wing' on the sport.

Silver with a black stripe would.

Possibly.

IMO silver shows the dirt the least and I would rather drive the car than clean it!!!
