ULTIMA MEET - CHOLMONDELEY PAGEANT OF POWER

I just got this from the organisers as I know some of you were thinking about going lasy year..I always go as ive been one of the photographers there in the past and my Ultima will be there as usual..
Anyone thinking of going?????????????
This year’s Chlmondeley Pageant of Power <http://www.cpop.co.uk/> will be held over the weekend 17th and 18th July 2010 and will be the third festival at Cholmondeley Castle that blends high-octane action on track, water and air
The classes comprise Le Mans and Grand Prix cars plus aero-engined fire spitters and classic rally cars. The bikes from the TT in addition to production superbikes and it will give the public a chance to rare and valuable vehicles racing with famous names behind the wheel.
On the water, powerboat action will include the powerful Formula 2 and 4 classes, together with 400cc ISO Seniors and Thundercats as part of the international racing circuit.
In the air, a wealth of helicopters will be joined by the Breitling display team and a host of other stunning aerobatic exhibitions.

Spoke to the Organisers today.
They will come back to me with minimum numbers seeing how exclusive our cars are.
no promises but Ive forwarded our case to them.
if sucessful they will want cars both days, so if you are interested we need to make sure cars are on display both days , rain or shine. The good thing is the club cars are very close to each other so other clubs tend to keep an eye out even if the cars are left unattended. Last year some supercars were on display next to the paddock, but initally I havent asked for this as I felt i might be pushing my luck!!!!!!! Yet!!

previous years allowed free entry for car and driver and passenger.
It would be good to get some numbers together to get the ball rolling as we havent attended before and Highflyer has talked about it in the past...
here is a start of list if anyone is interested,be good to give me an idea of days too nearer the time but im there saturday and sunday due to my photography...

Ive had contact again today... Spoken to Richard at the factory and he will be providing me with a large banner to put on display (in my garage... 
) which we can put up on the stand and will be bringing the record car as well!!!Ive also advised the organisers of all the records and rareity of these cars hopeing they might put our stand near the paddock rather than in the club area!!!!!wink wink

Ok we have been excepted as an invited club to the Pageant..
They will supply free vehicle access and 1 free full access ticket per car.. This allows access to all areas including the paddock and the ticket is normally 25 pounds.
As they are only supplying 1 ticket per car they will discount any other tickets purchased by us and all you need is a code which i have. The additional tickets are 15 pounds(normally 25) and again allows access everywhere including the paddock.the paddock is full access so you can go and talk to the drivers and see the cars up close.
Its a bit early to start getting addresses but it would be nice to see 10 cars if possible each day... I will have access to 10 tickets per day for all those interested in bringing their Ultimas...

just as an up date ,
I've asked for a pitch trackside if possible. Im looking at going down on the friday and taking a gazebo with me to setup, just incase there is too much sun or a drizzle of rain.
It would be fantastic if we could get quiet a few Ultimas there as we have so little meetings where we all meet up, and its free to get in and park which saves a small fortune.
The factory are supporting us and bringing the record car one of the days and providing a banner for our pitch.
So guys I will need your reg,name and address to send the FOC ticket to and what day you are coming, sat, sun or both days.
FOC ticket numbers are restricted and I will only have enough for 10 cars on each day.
