Dash Pics

Thought I'd have a go at posting some pics of how my dash is coming along, been building for a year or so now.
Not that good quality, taken with my phone, what do you think?

Now that I like, I like the SPA dash a nice combination of analogue and digital.
Are you going to carry the centre down to meet the gear lever?

Very very nice, you have made it look like a comfortable, inviting place to drive from....like it a lot!!

Just out of interest though Adam, are you fully compliant with radii etc for the test....I'm not well informed at all on that aspect of the build but am certainly looking to do a tidy dash and trim job too.

Did try a center console going up to the dash but thought I would keep knocking my leg on it.
Think you need 5mm rads on everything unless it is behind the steering wheel, correct me if i'm wrong

That looks very good indeed. Very neat and tidy too with the stalks removing many of the switches.

I could try to design a dash for the ultima for all my life and never come up with this as good as that.

btw, I noticed that the SPA gauge has 200MPH. Did you do this your self or did the SPA did it for you ?

Wow that looks fantastic, really sets the car off . I would love to create something similar for my Canam but I doubt it would come anywhere near to what you have done with yours.

Slight deviation, how easy was the SPA dash to fit into the Ultima wiring loom? Been looking at the same dash for a while now, just not sure how much modification would be required to fit it. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Made them from ali sheet then anodised them

I thought you needed a lower dash edge radius of 19mm?

i was going to ask exactly the same quesiton as i love the spa guages and the lotus ones only go to 140... Do spa supply them that way or is it a special order and also how much were they??

That's a great looking dash you've done there. One of the better ones I have seen. Would you mind telling me what switchgear you have used and where to source it? The rotary knobs in the center dash in particular and also the push button switches. I'm currently building a Saker here in New Zealand and have been looking for some nice switchgear that's not too normal.

Any other suggestions from you Ultima guys would be much appreciated.
