Is there any quick solution to stoping the tires hitting the back side of the headlight pods?

The factory do an updated version which cures it almost completely. They are £60 a pair.

As above.

I have the modded pods on my car, they still touch a small amount on full lock but no where near as bad as i've seen on other cars.

I too reluctantly paid for the upgraded mod once i bought the car as it was pain not using full lock. However they are expensive but almost cure the problem, depends what camber you are set at and ride height whether they will touch or not..

Grind some of the existing cover off and cover the hole in gaffer tape.
Drive the car and see if it still touches. You will see where by the ground away gaffer tape. Reduce the cover more and tape it again.
Repeat the process until you find how much your car needs removed.
Remove the covers and lay up some GF matt on the back of the gaffer tape. When set remove the tape and paint the cover.

Alternatively just live with the gaffer tape. Can't think who would do such a thing though...
