Nice build Kelvin.

I was with Paul H yesterday. Are you taking the car to Gurston?

I always pitch up and watch Paul's 30 seconds of fame!!!

Thanks Pete,

I haven't renewed my Competition Licence this year - I wouldn't like to take it up Gurston until I am a bit more used to it - I have only managed a couple of hundred miles it it since it was finished, due to the bad weather.

Also, I have another project on the go, to use in the Historic Class of this years Scally Rally, so I don't know whether I will get to many hillclimbs.

Ooh blimey. Too much time on yer hands Kelvin. Stick a V8 in it and be done with it!

Paul was saying he might go for a ?Gould? at the end of this season. Then he says he would have no excuses other than himself! He told me the costs of all that - wowzers!! serious stuff!

I think he would do very well in a Gould. The car I had was a Gould GR37, but I imagine he would be interested in one of the more recent ones.

That is a top compilation. Very well put together. My congratulations.

The only depressing thing is it makes me realise just how much I have still got to do!

Quick question Kelvin

Are the yellow stands you have the clips standing on just standard builders trestles?

Hi Kelvin

Thanks very much Dom - I will certainly bear that in mind.

I have done Shelsley a few times in single-seaters, and of the hills that I can think of, Shelsley may well suit the Ultima a bit better than some, as it is a "power" hill, although as you say, a bit tight !

Ill let you know if you dont come this year as i usually do the members day each year, although they were a bit reluctant last year as year 2008 i bought along my Husaberg supermoto..

While everyone was wheelspining and battling in the heavy rain, i was popping wheelies everywhere and tail slidding it....The members thought I was nuts, the marshals couldnt believe the grip I had, and the organisers thought next year it might be best to invite just members cars!!!!!!

Oviously the Ultima will go this year when im there so if you are there and see a silver one in the carpark, you will know who it is!!!

how long ago were you in the gould??

I sold it about 2 1/2 years ago so that I could buy the Ultima kit - I had it for a couple of years, and before that a Pilbeam (hence my nickname) and before that a Jedi and a Westfield.

Here is the Gould :-
