Anyone near Liverpool?

I've found an Audi RS4 engine in Liverpool, private parting out of a car.

Im looking for someone to go and handover the cash and make sure all the bits get handed over..

All I need is someone to go there, check for any damage that cant be seen on the photos, check off parts against a list and handover the cash.

I will arrange for a forwarder to be there to pick it up, take it away and crate it, there wont be any lifting or dirty work involved.

I'm prepared to pay GBP300 for your valuable time.

I will transfer the funds for the parts and GBP300 in advance.

Ive been watching ebay.de also.... there's a few there, along with some very low mileage S5 engines.

The one I found is from a guy who is parting out his car, its apparently got 13000 miles. I found it on an Audi forum.

He's going to take some more pics of it today.

Dom's going to check it out for me if I go ahead.

If I dont go ahead with this one I will definitely be in touch about some of the German ones. I have tried to contact a few of them in Germany but the language barrier makes it difficult.

why do not make things easy and use a more modern flat six in this project ?

The Porsche 6 is considerably larger than the Audi V8, space is the big issue on this project.

ok, i understand here in germany the subaru flat 4 with turbo is a popular engine for Beetle upgrades, so maybe tha would be an option as well. it seem that 300-400hp is not too difficult and they are using porsche gear boxes
