Options for covering the fuel tanks
Discussion
I checked the previous threads and couldn't find an answer to my question so forgive me if it's been addressed.
I know there's been discussions on rubberized paint, etc. Has anyone considered powder coat or something simular.
What is the heat tolerance of the foam inside the tanks?

I have covered mine with the heat shield material (ali foil on glass matt) on the angled top and engine bay face. The remainder is sprayed with black stone chip paint.
I was concerned at how difficult it would be to try and keep the ali clean and polished with all the oil cooler bits etc. restricting access.

I have powder coated my tanks, no problem with the foam.
Semi gloss black paint. Make sure you scuff the surface up and spray a primer on first. On the side facing the motor I applied the same reflective heat shield used above the mufflers (from ThermoTec in USA).
