Oil cooler thermostat
Discussion
I've fitted one and it seems to work. Abosultely no road miles yet.
The benefit is that you don't overcool your oil which can cause all sorts of issues with excessive wear of expensive bits. At least one person on here figured that their engine had an early demise because it was overcooled by light driving on motorways on winter days.
I figured it all makes sense and at £70 + a bit of plumbing; cheap insurance.
