LS7 Wiring loom extension
Discussion
I would like to extend my LS7 loom.
The current engine loom allows for the ecu to be fitted in the engine bay area - so fairly short, but I would like if poss to bring this forward to the drivers side pod much like the factory std fit. I presume this would involve making up a female connector (to plug into the Engine ECU connector) to male (to ECU) with a few extra metres of cabling.
Is there anything else that needs to be done? Have I missed something?
...and can anyone point me to someone who can make one up for me in the UK?
If not, then any one out their know what connectors and cable I will needs and where to get them from?
Cheers

That's quite a lot of work which you'll appreciate if you peel back the sleeving and look at how the looms constructed. It may be cheaper to buy a US loom with an extended trunk.
I may have to bite the bullet and do it myself since AmericanSpeed want over $1300 for the loom which seems rather steep and far more than I would have expected... and then there is VAT/ Import duty on top! I could go buy a very nice TV for that!
