2nd attempt and im happy!

Hi guys,

As a few of you were aware i was devastated when i had the results of my interior back from the trimmers on my first attempt, especially when my auto electrician disected it and found it was made of cardboard, well thats history.

so i decided despite the massive debt id get myself into to seek a better solution, delay my build and take a chance to get it right.

Im pleased to announce that i collected her today and the guys at L&J Audio nailed it. The quality and time dedicated by them is simply second to none.

Heres the link, it basic as it was a spur of the moment chewing a mcdonalds straw type incident but gives you an idea. Different to the norm, im sure not to everyones taste but i think youll appreciate that its a different approach.

When looking at the vid, have the impression it looks like a pre flight pilot check. Good work and can we see some more pics in daylight please?

I have to say the pics dont do it justice, the guys at L&J without me asking, even embossed my initials in the dash and the side pods, looks great, it does feel like a pre flight check, also not shown down in front of gear shifter is speed camera detector fits seemlessly.

ill do some more pics when i get home these were taken yesterday during collection, teh screen on the dash is a VI Monitor lots of gadgets with that! also has HUD in the top of the dash but flush mounted centrally, not sure what vents they used but they look awesome, quite cheap from ebay so im told.

All for a third of what i was charged the first time round.

Now that does look good ......but , sorry Mark, i think you may have problems with sunlight on the AIM at that angle.

p.s.. that unit above the switches will have to come out and be blanked off for IVA. Radius of edge will not meet requirements.

Hi Dave, thanks, yeah may have to extend the cover. I can deal with that minor adjustment. But overall im chuffed!!!

The VI Monitor simply pops out so easily blanked, anyone would think i spent a little time on this subject!!!!
