Wouldn't it make more sense to actually buy a chassis and then make the interior for it - not vice-versa?????

Somebody already asked this: http://pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=66473&f=20&h=0

Stig's point is a good one though. You wouldn't buy a carpet then build a house to fit...

He guys
Thanks for the reply Stig you are right in one way but
i want to use a complete dash with tunnel from a
Car and was wondering if it would fit the Audi RS 6
with clasic style dials
and to my feeling the Cabin was at least 1300 MM wide on the inside
its hard to believe its only 1085 wide wich looks realy small to me
when you sit in a GTR it feels more comfortable and roomy

now it looks like using the RS 6 dash will not be an option only the engine with 550 HP V8

I gues there is no room for a tunnel between the driver and passenger

Not really. There's just enough room to get your hand between the seats to get to the handbrake.

It's possible to fit a fire extinguisher and/or a central gearshift behind or just in front of the seats in the middle but it's a tight squeeze.

Regarding the tunnel between the seats,

Jay's GTR www.ultimav12.ca/ has a tunnel between the seats. Click on the compact car magazine on the web site and you can see interior pictures of the tunnel and dash.
