Dampers

I just had an MOT and the tester found my left damper leaking (a lot). I have been using the originally supplied factory cheaper option, the AVO's (they have been in use for six years). So, I am now going to replace the front pair first and may be the rear as well.

So my question is what are you prefered choice, and not too expensive that is as I don't have much money left after my engine rebuild ?

Also who knows all the specs (open length, close length, bush type/diameter etc)?

Pro-tec are now doing some double adjustables at reasonable money.
We will be testing a set of these soon to see if they assist the front end at all.

Avo in Northampton are very good if you walk into there showroom with the shock.... They shortened mine for £20..... nice people and you can upgrade as that's there low end shock Ult use. They have some much better ones if you want...
