Spa - A must do for you Ultima folk......
Discussion
Just back from two days at Spa. What a sensational place.
Really missed the Ultima there, I think it would be perfect. Straight line speed, low weight and COG for the twisty sections and a good mix of right and lefts to keep the tyre wear equal.
Anyone tracked at Ultima there? Love to see a video.

Been there a lot, it's an hour drive from eindhoven where I live.
If I can give you a tip/free advice: www.rsrnurburg.com They hire the track a lot of times now aday's, during the daytime or in the evening between 18 and 20 hr for their Lotus exige driving school. you could give them a mail and try to buy yourself in.
Please keep in mind that SPA changed the noiselevelregulations to lower DB's. with a ultima inform yourself very good if you can drive, with that noise (sorry beautifull sound).
Driving it with the GT3(rs) is close to perfect, lovely balance in the car no fighting, more like flying you can get into a good flow.
Did SPA with the prosport spider (400hp on slicks)last year, does that count?
It scared the ..... out of me. First time with an open racer ever.
Very direct steering, lot of downforce, so was fighting/driving to slow all the time no tire temp. etc. But stil could get the GT2's after a few hours.
My friend Ron from RSR then did a few laps, you don't believe what's happening.

Second that RSR recommendation. My Brother and I did Spa about two months ago in one of RSR's Exiges.]
Good for around 2.05-2.15per lap.
O'Rouge is really steep but that didn't stop my Brother understeering off at around 100mph... Luckily there's some run off.
Anyhow, great track, plenty of high and medium speed corners and long straights.
