August Factory Visit

Having read a few threads on here I understand that there is a factory visit opening soon.

I'm not really interested in buying an Ultima any time soon but may do in the future, do you think it would still be okay to go look around the factory?

I wouldn't want to seem like wasting peoples time.

Don't ever think you are wasting anybody's time. Obviously I don't officially speak on behalf of the factory, but you'd be more than welcome at any factory day. The support for the Ultima is just as important as any ownership. Ask someone to take you for a spin and I'm sure it will be the final excuse you need to join the Ultima camp!

I had a test drive about 9 years ago and went to the factory open day. I'm still no closer to buying a car. My day will come though, my day will come.

Took me 10 years! Built (and crashed) a Westfield in the middle..but eventually succumbed to a GTR and loved it ever since.

You will be more than welcome to look around and partake of the odd sandwich and brew.

Wow! Really wasn't expecting such a positive responce!

I won't lie I'm not in any way a hardcore ultima fan, have only just been reading up on then in fact. I've been a tvr nut and recently just bought my dream car!

But, I'm a car nut, as is everyone in this forum. Now in principle TVR's are not that dis-similar which is the main reason I have taken an interest.

The looks are growing on me, I wouldn't say it was the most beautiful car in the world but the performance is unquestionable!

I'm just interested in the marque and would like to have a gander around the factory just to see first hand what it's all about.

Your comments have made a positive effect and think I will go along.

Does anyone have the address and date it's on, do I need to pre book?

Oh Bks, the factory open day is on the 8th Aug - I'm at Wembly that day watching the community shield.

Oh well, I suppose there will always be other open days.
