Clearance between caliper and wheel.

When I fitted the calipers I centred them about the disc as per the instructions. I now have the wheels on and have just noticed that there is only 1,4mm clearance between the face of the caliper and the back of the wheel spoke. Is this enough or should I space the caliper over a bit despite the fact that it would then be off centre relative to the disc?

Mine are also about that distance.

It was something I was concerned about at first, but thinking about it later, it should'nt really matter. After all there is no way the wheel will catch on the caliper unless you buckle the wheel!

I shall check next time I am passing the factory, hopefully early this week.
