I cant say I have heard any changes myself but was told by my accountant in December when I bought the vehicle that I should be OK until 2005 but he couldn't guarantee after that. There must be a kind Ultima owner on here that is also an accountant (in the UK) and could confirm the status of tax benefits for Pickups.
Until I'm told otherwise it's a case of 'Ignorance is bliss' and 'make Hay whilst the sun shines'
In typical fashion my little brother J-K has copied me again and he has also got a Nissan Navara Pickup as his daily driver.
They should also make great support vehicles for Le-Mans this year.

Mine depends on the day and the weather. I have a Chevy Avalanche for the bad weather, a RX8 for the good weather, which will be traded in on the Lotus Elise when my number is called and it comes in sometime in September, a CBR 1100 XX for the days when I feel like I can beat the odds with the local constabulary, and a CR 500 motorcross bike when I feel like I can beat the odds the doctors in the emergency room...

Yep MY pickup should make an exellent support vehicle for all MY luggage n spares, your not going to have much room in your GTR once your missus has squashed her suitcases in !!! Could possibly come to some financial arrangment to carry some of yours but wont be cheep!!!

By 2007 the Navara will be over 3 years old and at the rate its going now will have over 100,000 miles on the clock so it will have to go. I'll then have to look into another daily driver - maybe get the Ultima sign written and see if I can get tax benefits for advertising purposes. Having said all this, when the weather was fine last year my Ultima was often my Daily driver. I only lived 8 miles from work but regularly did over 100 miles a day as there was nearly always someone who needed to nip out of work on errands during lunchtime, funny as they only ever needed a lift when I was in the Ultima – still any excuse to take it for a spin.

1996 Chevrolet Impala SS -- the last of the 4-door Corvettes (with mods, of course).
5 seat belts, 4 doors and 4200 lbs (empty).
About 350 bhp and about 380 ft/lbs torque.
(stock is 260 bhp/320 torque)
It's smooth at 145 with the 285-40-17 Bridgestones.
22/26 MPG and just change the oil ever 3,000.
162k miles and good compression. BIG brakes.
Many suspension changes and will oversteer nicely.
Got beat by a ('64?) Cobera today.
I need my Ultima GTR!
I also have a '76 Chevy Pick Up 4x4 for the daily
winter driving, a 2001 Honda Civic, and a Yamaha 350
