Towing Eye

Took the GTR for a spin on Saturday to test the new headers. Can really feel the difference, still sounds super nasty... headers + cats + race mufflers.

One of the sensor wires touched the headers and shorted and the car stopped.

I fixed it, but the experience made me realise that I need a towing eye.

Can someone please post some up-close pics of the eye and how it attaches.

I was, but now you've found me! Been busy restoring houses and moving, so I don't have a garage to work in at the moment :-(

Hopefully I will have my workshop built early next year so I can finish her off. 6 years and counting!

no Porsche polar silver which has a tint of blue in it.....

Its a pain as its going to be a bugger to match.

this towing eye setup you could make.




The towing eye itself (ringed in red)i have loads of as they are supplied with Peugeot cars and are found in the boot with the spare wheel.. I have a whole box of new ones if anyone needs any.

then all you need is something to screw it in... for my old cars i used to weld on a block witch id drilled and taped.
