kumho against the goodear f1

Hi folks,

I initially had Kumho on the car that I bought from the factory and had do change to F1 because car
would not have got a registration with the Kumhos (here in germany they are not speced any higher than 250 kmH).
However I have the feeling that the car drove better with the Kumhos ?
Anybody down the same route ?

I think the kumhos are great, but very little tread vs eagles, and i suspect a smaller diameter tyre, I now hit the rev limiter far sooner, I seem to have lost about 20 mph in top??? At wings and wheels today and got half way down the top gear straight and hit the 6k limit, but sure I was only doing 160ish? should be more like 175-180?

yes it is true the amount of tread on the Kumhos seems like a good joke......will measure the diameter of both tires that is an interesting overservation !

would be good to know, I am sure the F1s are larger diameter. But the Kumhos are half the price of the F1's which is why I bought some to try.
