Hi guys, just wondering if there are any Ultima owners in the south west that wouldn't mind me having a quick look around their pride and joy?
I've got to a stage in my build where my ancient build manual doesn't really help.

Cheers,
Tim.

Define South west.
I am just north of Portsmouth.

If you have an old version of the build manual then ask the Factory who I'm sure will supply you with the latest copy.

Hi Keith, I'm in Bristol so quite close. The alloy paneling is done, and I'm just doing a pre-fit of the bodywork.

Hi Steve, I haven't yet actually bought anything directly from the factory. Years of lurking in the background buying new and second hand bits when I could afford them. So am a little reluctant / apprehensive to approach Ted yet.

Cheers,
Tim.

It is not in the Factory's interest to have cars out there part built and not getting completed.
Tell them where your at and I'm sure they will support you.
They also have second hand parts around from time to time so you may even pick up some of the bits you are missing.

Bristol, Cheltham, Portsmouth........South West ?????

I have a GTR in Plymouth....if you get down this way then you are welcome to come see....or weather permitting plan to go to Exeter show end of October.

All the best with the build.....I bought my GTR as a dismantled project and the factory have always been v helpful.

Hi Stu, I am planning to try and get to the Exeter show, so may see you there.

Cheers,

Tim,

You are welcome to charge up the M5 getting off Jn 9 (Tewkesbury) and come and see me probably best on a sunday?

I have the engine started now, however not without some issues electrically (as most on this site know by now) - but then what is a build without issues? (Jeez I must have a screw loose!)

cheers

keith
