supercharged audi 4.2 v8 ???

still very very slowly moving forward with my planning and have been wondering if there is anyone thats implanted a supercharged rs4 lump in to the ultima ? this is an engine that would be available to me at a reasonable cost and have been looking at a number of chargers.
Would like something a little different and a bit more revy( probably gonna be shot for that but its only personal taste)

Plenty of S4 V8 Audi motors in Ultimas now, a super-charger or turbo-charged one would be nice to....

looks great but not sure id be up to the turbo charging route !! looked at the rs6 bi turbo engine but felt the newer rs4 lump would be a more reliable option and only looking at around 550-600bhp....some of the charger options available in the U.S seem to be focused on making the engine as reliable as a standard one which floats my boat as love to tinker but dont get the time !!.....had a few tvrs now....love em but a pain in the ar@e !!

I scored this 2009 S5 engine from an Audi dealer in Germany.... its allegedly an Audi test engine with 124km on it. Clearly, the condition of the engine supports this ridiculously low mileage.

Here's one with 4348km for EUR3899 from the same dealer.

as far as i know the rs6 / rs4 V8 is the same basic motor, rs6 is 450 bhp standard ( alledged ) can can up to 550 ish with a remap

i am running rs4 v6 with hybrid rs6 turbo's few bit's and bobs & we have 619 BHP 740 NM torque

had a nice email from Apr...going to arrange to give them a call this week.....there looking at 570bhp & 510lb-ft which seems pretty good to me !! again with the focus on reliability.....is it just me or was there a few issue's with the rs6 v8 set up??

the weak link is the auto gearbox ( tiptronic ) which you wouldn't use anyway

I have an Audi v8 4.2, 2005, 21000 miles with a brand new 6 speed box ready to bolt straight on if anyone is interested. I bought it for another project, but ran out of cash. This model engine has been supercharged by a few different American tuners.
