Not an Ultima problem but i told a friend of mine that my 'online friends' would have the answer to this.
My friend has to extend some wiring on his fuel tank sender in his kit and was wondering what he should use to seal the wiring after. The join will sit inside the fuel tank. Obviously this needs to be fuel proof.
I know you lot will have the answer.

If you have to then solder the wires and then there is some glue lined heat-shrink tubing you can buy that will seal better than std heat-shrink, that's what I would do. But I would only use it as a last resort, personally I would try and remake the cables at the source so there's no second join.
As much as it might not seem right most connections to in-tank fuel pumps are not sealed.
